Central West Florida Fishing

Inshore- Inshore- Redfish and snook, Boca Grande to Estero Bay early morning throw topwater. About 10 a.m
switch to live or cut bait, lots of small bait on top of the bars,so you better throw a 1/4" net the bigger thredies are
in deeper water and are very skittish so good luck.If you don't want to mess with a net cast a jig around bait
schools and catch ladyfish, chunk them up, sometimes this works better than live bait. Remember it's HOT, drink
lots of water and stay safe.

Offshore- SNAPPER, SNAPPER and more SNAPPER out to 70 miles over wrecks and natural bottom.
Use cut thredies or sardines, but take along some live pins for the grouper. Look for weed lines and birds working,
lots of weeds blown in from the SW winds last week. Troll or run n gun for dolphin and tuna. Don't be afraid to troll
some big lures between bottom spots for a wahoo. Watch out for afternoon storms!!

Good Luck and Tight Lines,

Josh Greer
